Bicycle Rental Terms and Conditions

(Appendix to the Bicycle Rental Agreement)
valid from May 1, 2025

1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules of use, as well as the rights and responsibilities of users of bicycles owned by AMBER SUITE P.W. TOMASZ JANISZEWSKI, Kurza Stopka 13/14, NIP 8571065706, hereinafter referred to as the “Lessor”.

Reservation and Cancellation

2. Bicycle reservations can be made by phone or in person using the form available on site. After completing the form, the Renter will receive a confirmation of the order and payment details. The reservation is confirmed once the payment has been credited to the Lessor’s account.

3. In the event of cancellation up to 7 days before the planned rental date, the Lessor will refund the full amount paid within 48 hours via bank transfer to the account used for payment.

4. The reservation fee is non-refundable if the cancellation is made later than 7 days before the planned rental date.

Bicycle Rental

5. The rental of a bicycle takes place upon the Renter’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

6. The condition for renting the equipment is signing the Rental Agreement and paying a deposit. The Rental Agreement may only be concluded for full days, with one day (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM) being the minimum rental period.

7. The equipment will be handed over to the Renter on the day the agreement is signed.

8. Upon collection of the bicycle, the Renter must present a photo ID, from which the data required for the Rental Agreement will be recorded. In the case of cash payment, two ID documents are required.

9. The bicycle rental fee must be paid in advance via traditional bank transfer, BLIK, payment card, or in cash. The current price list is available at Hotel Amber Suite.

10. The deposit is collected after signing the Bicycle Rental Agreement and before the equipment is issued. The deposit will be blocked on the payment card for the duration of the rental and released upon proper return of the bicycle in good condition.

• Deposit: 500 PLN – hotel guests

• Deposit: 1000 PLN – other customers

11. The Lessor may refuse to rent a bicycle without providing a reason.

Use of the Bicycle

12. The Lessor declares that the bicycles are in good technical condition and equipped in accordance with applicable road traffic regulations and must be returned in the same condition. The Lessor is not responsible for hidden defects in the rented equipment.

13. The Renter bears full responsibility for the rented bicycle and any damage caused to it from the moment of rental until its return.

14. In the event of defects or damage to the equipment, the Lessor shall inform the Renter in writing by sending a Return Report to the email address provided by the Renter within 24 hours from the return date specified in the Return Report.

15. In the event of damage to the bicycle or its parts, the Renter is obliged to cover all repair costs. The Lessor will deduct the repair costs from the deposit.
    The repair cost estimate will be determined individually based on the average market value of spare parts and services required to restore the bicycle to a usable condition.

16. If the cost of damage exceeds the deposit amount, the Renter is obliged to cover the full repair or damage costs.

17. In the event of damage that makes repair impossible, the Renter shall fully cover the purchase of a new bicycle of the same type or, if unavailable, an equivalent model.

18. In the event of theft, the Renter must immediately notify the Police and provide a certificate of the reported theft to the Lessor. The Renter shall fully cover the purchase of a new bicycle of the same type or, if unavailable, an equivalent model.

19. Use of the bicycle by a minor is only permitted under the supervision of an adult who assumes responsibility for the minor’s safety and any damage caused. One adult may rent a maximum of two bicycles for minors.

20. The Renter bears full responsibility for any consequences of random events such as collision, fall, fatigue and resulting health damage and waives any claims against the Lessor for accidents, material damage or injuries incurred during the use of the rented bicycle.

21. Any independent adjustments, repairs, modifications or replacement of parts in the rented bicycle without the written consent of the Lessor are prohibited.

22. Persons under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances are not permitted to use the bicycles.

23. The Renter may transport the bicycles using their own means of transport only with the consent of the Lessor. In the event of an accident, the Renter bears full responsibility for the transported bicycles, even if they are not at fault.

24. Transporting bicycles outside the borders of Poland is prohibited.

Other Conditions

25. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
